Oxford launches new styleguide at BLE

The new University of Oxford styleguide will launch at Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) 2011 in London this week, 18‐20 October 2011. Created by Oxford Limited, the company responsible for the University's brand licensing programme, the styleguide will be debuted on the Performance Brands stand (E055), the licensing agents for Oxford across the UK, Europe and Middle East.

Oxford University is famous for its academic excellence and research, its heritage and sporting traditions, its wealth of archives and collections, and its notable Alumni. The styleguide highlights these integral aspects of the University's unique brand DNA, and demonstrates how they can be interpreted into a powerful consumer proposition.

Chris Evans, MD of Oxford Limited, commented: "Our previous styleguide was launched in 2008 and although it has served us well over the last three years, we felt the time was right to bring our vision for the consumer brand up‐to‐date. In doing so, we have redefined our category focus to three main areas and have illustrated these with a range of product and lifestyle imagery, to help prospective partners visualise how the brand translates into product."

The University's Brand Licensing programme has agents representing the property across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Korea, China and SE Asia, India, Brazil and South America, with more agents to be announced in the near future.
