Licensing Expo 2013 University of Oxford Licensing Programme Preview

The University of Oxford will once again be represented at Licensing Expo by their North American agent, Joester Loria, Booth C111.

The Oxford Collection of furniture by Timothy Oulton has been one of Oxfordís biggest success stories over the last 12 months, and samples from the range will feature on the Joester Loria booth at the show.

Inspired by Oxfordís heritage and traditions, the collection of classic style English furniture designed with a clever Oxford twist, was first launched at Maison díObjet in Paris in 2011 and is now available in high-end furniture stores as well as Timothy Oulton showrooms in over 17 countries. The Oxford Collection combines retro imagery, iconic crests, dashing preppy stripes and rich tones and textures reminiscent of Oxford college interiors and sporting tradition. Its successful global formula highlights opportunities in complementary furnishing categories such as rugs and carpets, lighting, wall covering, cushions and throws.

Licenses with a strong relevance to Oxford such as back-to-school and collegiate style apparel also continue to thrive, while more recent additions such as luggage, bags and bicycles will launch at retail later this year.

Oxford is the oldest English-speaking University in the world, with the earliest records of teaching dating back to 1096. Itís global reputation and reach, world class academic and cultural institutions and their collections, plus a unique portfolio of creative resources including coats of arms, college and sports club marks all contribute to the strength of the University of Oxford licensing programme and the Oxford consumer lifestyle brand.
