Oxford Limited launches website

Oxford Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Oxford, has launched a new website, which focuses on the company’s key areas of business – Brand Licensing, Retail and Services to the University.

Oxford Limited is responsible for the management and promotion of the University’s retail and brand licensing programmes, the scope of which is explained in the relevant sections along with information about additional services provided to the University, such as the popular Internal Market Merchandise Service.

The easy to navigate site has a comprehensive “About Us” section which includes a page about the recently published 2011 Annual Review. This is the first time that Oxford Limited has published an annual review, a copy of which can be downloaded from the page. The review features a summary of the main activities that took place across the business in 2011, from the successful development of new product lines, such as the Oxford Cityscape range, through to the appointment of licensing agents in Brazil and India. The continued success of The University of Oxford Shop on the High Street and the online shop is also highlighted, along with the popularity of the College Christmas card scheme and new products available for event and conferences via the internal market service.

Other features of interest on the Oxford Limited website include the “News” section for an at a glance update on the most recent activity across all areas of the business, as well as a link to www.oxfordhomeandliving.com which currently showcases The Oxford Collection of furniture, bags and accessories, produced and sold all over the world by official licensee, Halo Licensing.

The next stage of development for the website is a login area accessible to appointed agents and licensees of the University of Oxford Brand licensing programme, which is scheduled for completion by June 2012.
